  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup fine coconut
  • coconut for rolling


  1. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring butter, sugar and milk to a boil
  2. Allow to boil for about 5 minutes without stirring (should be at a rolling boil) while you let this boil mix together your rolled oats and coconut and set to the side
  3. Add cocoa and remove from the heat
  4. Add in coconut/oat mixture and stir to combine with the wet mixture
  5. Let cool and roll ball in coconut to coat
