5 Star Fluffy Pancakes

Here it is friends, the LAST pancake recipe you will ever need! I have included not only the “Basic” version, but my hubbies “Boozy Amaretto” version as well! I HIGHLY recommend you try both! I have to say as well, we received a Reversible Grill/Griddle
when we got married and it has changed our pancake game! It has a large surface and cooks perfectly even, making sure our pancakes come out perfect every single time!

Makes: 12 good size pancakes

Cook Time: 5 mins prep and 5 mins cooking time

Ingredients

    Ingredients (original):
  • 1 1/4 c flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3c milk
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg
  • Ingredients (Amaretto):
  • 1 1/2c flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1c milk
  • 1/2c Amaretto
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg

Instructions

    For either recipe:
  1. Sift your dry ingredients together in a small bowl
  2. In a medium bowl mix together all of your wet ingredients (be sure to lightly beat your egg at this point to break the yolk down)
  3. Add your dry and wet ingredients together, mix
  4. DO NOT over mix, it is okay to have some lumps in your batter (this is the key to keeping them fluffy!)
  5. Cook pancakes until bubbles appear (see photo below) and then flip, let cook another 30 sec to 1 min

The recipe I usually use for fluffy pancakes I make involve beating egg whites in a fluff, which is a LOT of work when I’m traveling and don’t have an electric whisk. This is great! Your pancakes look fluffy as a cloud and absolutely delicious—can’t wait to try this recipe!!

Yay, so glad to make it easier for you Stephanie! I am telling you, this is honestly the last recipe you will need! AND if you like a slight almond sweetness, the amaretto ones are delish!
