Ingredients (original):

  • 1 1/4 c flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 3 tbsp oil *we use vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Ingredients (Amaretto):

  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c milk
  • 1/2 c Amaretto
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg


For either recipe:

  1. Sift your dry ingredients together in a small bowl
  2. In a medium bowl mix together all of your wet ingredients (be sure to lightly beat your egg at this point to break the yolk down)
  3. Add your dry and wet ingredients together, mix
  4. DO NOT over mix, it is okay to have some lumps in your batter (this is the key to keeping them fluffy!)
  5. Cook pancakes until bubbles appear (see photo) and then flip, let cook another 30 sec to 1 min
